🚀 Overview

This release introduces new functionality to improve login security and enhance the clinical documentation experience while resolving several key UI and workflow issues. Additionally, several backend and infrastructure optimizations have been made to improve stability, performance, and consistency between web and mobile experiences.

🔍 What’s New?

Important Highlights

  • Biometric Login Support: Users can now securely log in using biometric authentication on supported devices. (MED-3315)

  • Improved Note Consistency: The note list ordering and ICD-10 display now mirror the web experience for better cross-platform alignment. (MED-3908)
  • Enhanced Voice and Transcription Logic: Real-time voice animation and improved transcription handling for short encounters provide a more natural, responsive experience. (MED-3324)

🐞 Bug Fixes: 

  • MED-3684- Fixed issue where users (Medical Staff, Office Staff, Provider) could still access and start appointments after their access had been removed by an admin, causing the session to remain stuck in a loading state.
  • MED-3955- Corrected note list ordering to match the web application for consistent viewing across platforms.
  • MED-3758- Resolved bug related to transcription handling improvements (linked to MED-3318).
  • MED-3942- Fixed a UI display issue to ensure proper rendering across devices and layouts.
  • MED-3917- Addressed miscellaneous bugs impacting user interface and note functionality.

🧹 Technical Improvements (Tech Debt) 

  • MED-3545- Renamed environment variable from EXPO_PUBLIC_DATADOG_ENV to EXPO_PUBLIC_ENV and updated Sentry/GitHub Action configurations for improved observability.
  • MED-3324- Enhanced the voice animation feature to support real-time voice input, improving the accuracy of voice amplification and responsiveness.
  • MED-3318- Implemented consistent transcription logic across web and mobile for encounters under 100 words.
  • MED-3819- Added force-update logic to ensure mobile users are running the latest application version.
