AvodahMed Diagnosis Reconciliation, Labs & Orders FAQ
Q: What new features were recently released?
A: UserFlow interactions were released to production on January 8, 2026, and additional enhancements are planned in the upcoming January release cycle.
Unity & Version Requirements
Q: What Unity version is required for Diagnosis Reconciliation and Labs & Orders?
A: Customers must be on Unity version 26.0 or later to use Diagnosis Reconciliation and Labs & Orders.
Q: Will customers be notified about Unity version requirements?
A: Communication plans are being coordinated with Veradigm, and customers may need to work with their Veradigm contacts to request upgrades if they are not already on the required version.
Q: Is the process different for hosted vs on-prem customers?
A: Yes. Upgrade processes may differ between hosted and on-prem VEHR customers, and Veradigm guidance may vary based on deployment type.
Diagnosis Reconciliation (DX Reconciliation)
Q: What is Diagnosis (DX) Reconciliation?
A: Diagnosis Reconciliation ensures that structured ICD-10 diagnosis codes are confirmed and accurately pushed to the EHR. This supports proper charting, billing, and downstream clinical workflows.
Q: Is Diagnosis Reconciliation enabled for all users?
A: Yes. Diagnosis Reconciliation is generally available (GA) and enabled for all VEHR users, with controls available through the Admin Panel.
Q: Do providers need to reconcile ICD-10 codes for every encounter?
A: Providers only need to reconcile ICD-10 codes if they want to use structured features like Labs & Orders or push diagnoses to the EHR. However, reconciling all ICD-10 codes is recommended for the best overall experience.
Q: Why do providers need to click each ICD-10 code?
A: Currently, providers must confirm or select ICD-10 codes individually when they want Orders suggestions to populate. The team is actively exploring workflow improvements to reduce clicks in future updates.
Labs & Orders
Q: What is the relationship between Diagnosis Reconciliation and Labs & Orders?
A: Labs & Orders relies on reconciled ICD-10 codes. If diagnoses are not reconciled, the Orders tab will not display suggested labs or orders.
Q: Why aren’t Orders appearing for my visit?
A: Orders will only appear if the ICD-10 codes have been reconciled during the encounter. Without reconciliation, the system cannot generate relevant order suggestions.
Q: Is Labs & Orders available to all customers?
A: Labs & Orders is currently a VEHR-only feature and requires Unity version 26.0 or higher. Availability may differ based on customer type and rollout phase.

Assessment & Plan (A&P) Placement
Q: Why doesn’t the Assessment & Plan always appear under “Today’s Impressions”?
A: Placement depends on current EHR capabilities. The team is actively exploring an enhancement that would allow providers to choose where A&P content appears, either in the note body or under each ICD-10 code.
Q: Will providers be able to control where A&P content appears?
A: This is under active exploration. Future enhancements may allow user-level control for A&P placement, depending on EHR support.
