🔍 What’s New?
✨ Enhancements:
- Beta Mobile Application: Accessible to IOS and Android customers, for Athena Integrated and Non-Integrated Customers. VEHR GA is expected in early May. Download Instructions: 📱 AvodahMed Mobile App Instructions
- Feature FlagAI Disclaimer in Documentation: A clear, non-intrusive disclaimer has been added to all documentation outputs, visible when printed, downloaded, or sent to the EHR. *This feature is behind a feature flag and can be disabled based on customer preferences.
- Feature FlagEHR-Specific Disclaimer Placement: The disclaimer appears once in the Assessment & Plan section for VEHR and Athena users and is not editable in AvodahMed.
- “Not Captured” Placeholder Removed: Empty sections are now returned as blank rather than with a “Not Captured” placeholder.
- Provider Filter Update: Providers can now select and save multiple preferred providers in the appointments view, improving personalized workflow.
- Separated Page-Level Filters: Filters are now page-specific and won’t carry over across Appointment, Patient, Team, or History pages.
- Embedded Button Enhancements: UI improvements ensure the “Send to EHR” and “Save to EHR” buttons remain visible (but disabled) after use for clearer feedback.
- JSON Schema Update: Split the Assessment and Plan fields to improve editability and maintain clean data flow.
- ROS Terminology Update: Renamed “ROS Alterations” to “Review of Systems” for clinical clarity.
- Assessment & Plan Enhancements: Formatting changes to combine A&P fields across note types, simplify the presentation of summaries, plans and goals related to identified problems, and reduce duplicated information presented in documentation
- Test Results Enhancements: enables CPAP, Ultrasound, and other test results to be more clearly captured with relevant data and shown in the documentation
- Mobile Appointment Sync: Re-enabled appointment syncing through VEHR for improved mobile workflows
- Fixed authentication errors and websocket instability due to Clerk issues.
- Resolved rendering error within Server Components.
- Fixed mobile app bug where audio streams were lost if recording began before connection.
- Adjusted timer logic to count only active transcription time, not total appointment time.
- Fixed decoding timeout issues causing delayed or failed transcriptions.
- Fixed issue with appointments not saving when providers weren’t pre-assigned.
- Resolved missing warning and incomplete state in custom workflow steps.
- Fixed incorrect appointment counts on the dashboard.
- Corrected spinning wheel error during failed SSO launches.
- Fixed symptom detection accuracy in production.
- Resolved template-saving issues in Doc Wizard settings.
- Fixed misinterpretation of “Last Year” as 2022 in transcription.
- Ensured complete appointment exports in CSV format.
- Fixed note truncation issues when only one sentence was recorded.
- Document formatting updated to improve clarity with consistent schema changes.
- Transcription gateway now supports AWS Medical Transcribe as a backup for Soniox.
- Tenant setup completed for TouchWorks.
