How to Add or Edit a Patient in Nsight

Adding a New Patient

  1. Navigate to the Patients Page
    • On the Appointments page, click Patients in the left-side panel.
  2. Create a New Patient
    • Click New Patient at the top-right corner.
  3. Enter Patient Details
    • Fill in the required fields, including name, date of birth, and other relevant information.
    • Use the MM/DD/YYYY format when entering the date of birth (e.g., 03/18/1980).
  4. Save the Patient Record
    • Click Create to finalize the entry.

Editing a Patient Record

  1. Locate the Patient
    • Use the search bar to find the patient by name.
  2. Edit Patient Information
    • Click the three-dot menu next to the patient's name.
    • Update the necessary details and click Update to save changes.

Filtering Patients

  1. Sort by Provider
    • Use the Provider drop-down menu to filter by a specific provider.
    • Patients without an assigned provider may appear as Unspecified.
