Using AvodahMed 2.0 with Google Chrome

For the best experience with AvodahMed 2.0, it is strongly recommended to use Google Chrome as your web browser. This guide covers device permissions, adjusting zoom, testing your audio/video setup, and clearing browser data.

1. Allowing Device Permissions

AvodahMed requires access to your microphone, video, and notifications to function properly.

To enable these in Chrome:

  • Go to the top-left of the Chrome address bar and click the lock or camera icon.
  • A dropdown menu will appear showing permission options.
  • Ensure all needed permissions (microphone, camera, notifications) are set to “Allow.

2. Testing Audio and Video

You can test your devices directly in AvodahMed:

  • Click “Settings” located in the bottom-left corner of the Nsight interface.
  • In the Settings menu, click on the “Audio and Video” tab.
  • Use the options on that page to test and confirm your microphone and camera are working properly.

3. Adjusting Google Chrome Zoom Settings

If you can't view the full All Appointments section after logging in, your Chrome zoom level may need adjusting.

To fix this:

  1. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of Chrome.
  2. Midway through the dropdown, you’ll see Zoom controls.
  3. Use the + or - buttons to increase or decrease zoom until all appointments are visible.

4. Clearing Web Browser Data

Over time, your browser's cache and cookies may interfere with AvodahMed's performance.

To clear them:

  1. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of Chrome.
  2. Select “Clear Browsing Data” (usually found halfway down the menu).
  3. In the pop-up window, make sure to check:
    • Browsing history
    • Cookies and other site data
    • Cached images and files
  4. Click “Clear data” to complete the process.

Regularly clearing this data helps ensure AvodahMed works smoothly and updates properly.
